In the end, Winter (from my last piece) went ahead and trotted through the shiney blue portal and so was thrown into another universe type place called Gaia. Here she now lives happily, with the uh, added side-effect of spontaneously transforming into a big black gryphon every so often.

Here be Winter enjoying her wings while they last. Who knows what'll happen should she spontaneously retransform into a human, mid-flight... >>
